Matt Vetter, PT, DPT, CSCS
Matt Vetter enjoys being active, helping others, and making a positive impact in the community. He was first introduced to the profession of physical therapy when he attended PT sessions with a friend of his who was in a car accident while in high school. He was impressed by the skill and compassion of the physical therapist and was drawn to the profession by the impact a physical therapist could make on the health of others.
Matt graduated in 2010 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy after doing his undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He earned his Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 2012. Matt is a Running Technique Specialist, Certified in the Pose Method through the Romanov Academy of Sports Science. He is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician and a certified Tai Chi instructor.
In 2020, Matt became a full time fire fighter with the Lincoln Fire Department and works occasionally as a physical therapist at Omaha Physical Therapy Institute.
Matt enjoys helping others maximize their commitment to health and wellness. He sets a good example with the fulfillment he gains personally from exercise and being active. Matt grew up in Fairbury, Nebraska and in high school, he was on the football, basketball, and track teams. He continues to work out on a regular basis and has completed two Ironman races! Besides exercising, Matt also enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with his wife and two daughters, and cheering on his favorite sports teams from Chicago!
