Giving patients the care they DESERVE.
Brent Cordery, PT, DPT
Brent’s journey to becoming a physical therapist was shaped by personal experience. After enduring multiple injuries throughout his athletic career, he developed a deep appreciation for the impact of quality rehabilitation. His own challenges, paired with a strong passion for healthcare, inspired him to pursue a career in physical therapy.
Brent earned his undergraduate degree in psychology with minors in biology and chemistry from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He went on to graduate with honors from Creighton University in 2002, earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. With extensive experience treating orthopedic and sports-related injuries, Brent is dedicated to providing research-driven, hands-on, and personalized care to every patient he works with.
In 2007, Brent and his wife Katie brought their vision of compassionate, individualized physical therapy to life by opening Omaha Physical Therapy Institute. Their mission: to deliver expert care with heart.
As he promotes health and wellness to his patients, Brent leads an active lifestyle outside of his practice of physical therapy. He’s been playing competitive soccer since his youth, participating in the Olympic Development Program and for select club teams in Virginia, New York, and South Dakota. These days, he’s very proud to still be lacing up his cleats for his men’s team, Barrett’s FC—clearly living out his dream of becoming a professional soccer player… just, you know, without the fame, money, or screaming fans. He also enjoys reading, hiking, boating, traveling, playing the guitar, and golfing.
🎺 Fun fact: Brent was a Division I trumpet player at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during his undergrad years back when the Cornhuskers were winning National Championships!
