One-on-One Treatment with a Physical Therapist Every Visit!
Giving patients the care they DESERVE.

Jack Matuella, PT, DPT

Jack Matuella’s interest in physical therapy began at an early age, sparked by his own experience with multiple injuries that sidelined him from sports in middle school. He was impressed by how his physical therapist helped him return to the activities he loved, and it inspired him to pursue a career where he could make that same positive impact on others.

With a passion for helping people and a strong dedication to research and continuing education, Jack earned a position as a physical therapist at Omaha Physical Therapy Institute.

Jack graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Health Science. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Specializing in orthopedic and sports injuries, Jack’s background as a multi-sport athlete in high school gives him unique insight into what it takes to recover—not just for daily activities, but for high-level physical performance and sports. He is especially passionate about ACL rehabilitation.

Jack is deeply committed to serving his community and takes pride in being part of the physical therapy profession. To stay on top of the latest science-backed treatments, he enjoys reading research articles and listening to physical therapy podcasts.

Outside the clinic, Jack loves spending time with his family and friends, weightlifting, running, hiking, cooking healthy meals, traveling, and attending sporting events. He has been a part of the OPTI family since 2021.

⚾Fun facts: Jack and his wife are on a mission to attend a baseball game at every MLB stadium in the U.S.!  And—he was a child model.  Ask him to show you a picture!
