Laura Carlson, Operations Assistant

Laura Carlson is the friendly face that greets you when you walk into Omaha Physical Therapy Institute. As our Operations Assistant, she helps create a welcoming environment for patients and makes sure every visit starts with a smile.

Laura graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor of Science in Education and spent two years teaching history before joining the OPTI team. Her background in education, combined with her warm personality and attention to detail, makes her a natural at helping patients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they arrive.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys baking, cooking, antiquing, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She’s also a passionate sports fan, cheering for Chelsea F.C., the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the Creighton Bluejays.

Fun fact: Laura has a love for history and still carries with her plenty of “random” American history knowledge from her teaching days!
