Giving patients the care they DESERVE.
Katie Reisbig Cordery, PT, DPT
After tearing her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in high school during basketball practice, Katie was introduced to physical therapy. She was inspired by the profession and developed a passion for assisting others who have experienced injury. She understands the physical and mental challenges that come along with injury and is committed to assisting patients in both areas to allow for confidence when returning back to work, life, or sports.
Katie graduated with honors from Creighton University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2003. She has an extensive background in the pediatric and adult orthopedic and sports medicine realms. Her passion for providing patients with the best possible physical therapy services led her and her husband, Brent, to open up Omaha Physical Therapy Institute in 2007.
Katie truly loves her profession as she is able to share her passion for health and wellness with her patients every day. Katie loves to exercise and has been an athlete her whole life. She was involved in basketball, soccer, gymnastics, and volleyball growing up. As a Division I athlete in college, Katie was voted captain of Creighton University’s women’s soccer team. She tallied several all-conference academic and athletic honors and received the team award for “Most Inspirational Player.”
When she is not working, Katie enjoys playing tennis and soccer, attending concerts, exercising, boating, hiking, traveling, and most of all, snuggling her puppy!
