Learn more about Katie below!

1. Why did you become a physical therapist and what do you enjoy most about the profession?

I had experienced firsthand the positive effect physical therapy can have on people when I was in high school after an ACL injury/surgery which prompted my interest.  What I enjoy most about my job is having the opportunity to utilize my knowledge and my love for helping others in my everyday life!  I love the relationships we get to develop with people and it feels good to be a positive component to their healing/recovery.  It truly is a fulfilling profession and I feel blessed to be a part of it.

2. If you had access to a time machine, where and when would you go?

I would probably take myself to the 1920’s and hang out at Downton Abbey!

3. What do you do for fun?

Getting coffee and going boutique shopping, going out with friends, baking/cooking, traveling, exercising, juggling the soccer ball, playing the piano, walking around Barnes and Nobles, hanging out with my hubby.

4. What is something that always makes you smile?

Puppies!

5. What is something you have learned that you try to apply to your everyday life?

Actions really do speak louder than words.  I really appreciate people who do what they say they are going to do!

6. What is your favorite way to relax after a long day at work?

I love coming home to leftovers (then I don’t have to cook), maybe have a glass of wine, and watch a good Netflix show!

7. If you could join a current or past music group, which one would you join?

If talent wasn’t an issue, I would totally harmonize with Ingrid Michaelson or be a backup dancer for JT!
