☕Meet Ally Murray: Athletic Trainer at OPTI
If you’ve ever been to Omaha Physical Therapy Institute, chances are you’ve seen our incredible Athletic Trainer, Ally Murray, in action. Ally wears many hats at OPTI. She not only assists with administrative duties and marketing but also leads our Wellness, WellFIT, and Performance Programs. Her energy, humor, and heart for helping others make her an essential part of our team!

What’s your guilty pleasure snack?
Definitely ice cream! 🍦
What’s a talent that not very many people know you have?
It’s not really a talent, but I’m pretty good at remembering names! (Now, pronouncing them correctly… that’s another story 🙃)

What’s one thing that patients say that always makes you smile?
“Are you Katie?”
What’s your most used phrase in the clinic?
“Perfect.”
Who at OPTI would survive the longest in a zombie apocalypse — and why?
Marc! He would just figure it out.
What’s the weirdest or funniest thing that’s happened in the clinic?
Let’s just say that while I can remember names, pronouncing them is a different story. 🙃
If you could be a professional athlete, what sport would you play?
Golf
What’s one piece of advice you often give your patients?
“This too shall pass.” Just great life advice!
What’s something you’ve learned from your patients?
I am literally learning something new from patients every day. I love the ability I have to learn about them and from them, all ages.
What’s your go-to coffee order?
A white mocha with an extra shot — iced or hot, depending on the weather! 🙂
What are you most grateful for in your role at OPTI?
How many amazingly different people I meet every day! I love seeing them excel inside and outside of the clinic.
Beach vacation or mountain getaway?
Both sound perfect, but if I had to choose… mountains! 🙂
