Marc Hunley, PT, DPT

Marc has always had a strong interest in helping others. His interest in physical therapy began after participating in sports growing up. Marc was a youth state champion gymnast and All-City soccer player in Kansas. During his undergraduate studies at Creighton University, Marc was a student athletic trainer which afforded him the opportunity to work with athletes from Creighton University, UNO, and local high schools. Marc graduated from Creighton with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2003.

Prior to coming to OPTI, he has spent his career practicing in private practice in Kansas and in a large health care system in Nebraska. He is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and enjoys educating future PTs. Marc has a strong passion for learning and understands the importance of staying up to date on the most effective treatment techniques in order to optimize the care he provides his patients. One of his proudest career moments was providing Physical Therapy at the 2012 Olympic Swim Trials.

Marc and his wife Kate have five children who keep them VERY busy. Marc enjoys playing soccer, golfing, and running (including running half marathons!). Marc and fellow OPTI physical therapist, Katie Reisbig Cordery, graduated from PT school in the same class at Creighton University in 2003. Marc has been a part of the OPTI family since 2015!

Fun fact: Marc is known for his laugh. If you are funny enough, you just might get the opportunity to hear it!
