“Diving” into her Future… Kelly’s Sights Set on the Olympics

The recruiting process was stressful but fun! During and after my physical therapy at OPTI, I was in touch with college coaches because my goal was to dive for my dream school at a Division I level. OPTI understood what goals I wanted to achieve. OPTI’s environment helped me to keep a positive mentality throughout my rehab and I was able to reach my goal of committing to my dream school, Notre Dame.

As an Omaha Marian student, I was introduced to OPTI through one of my mentors! I am forever grateful OPTI was recommended to me because I had a wonderful experience. All of the therapists are skilled and familiar with working with athletes of all ages. They truly go the extra mile and understand athletes need sports-specific rehab.

I struggled with multiple ankle injuries which kept me from competing. Throughout therapy, I was challenged, but NEVER pushed through pain. Physical Therapy was an enjoyable time and I would recommend anyone to go through rehab at OPTI. I know that I have established a relationship with the therapists for life!

I am beyond excited to attend Notre Dame and dive. It will also be nice to live independently. I have already set my sights high. My hopes are to dive in the NCAA tournament as well as compete for the USA Olympic team in Tokyo in 2020.

Thank you to the team at Omaha Physical Therapy Institute for helping me reach my goals! I am thankful for all that you did for me! I know you guys will be rooting me on as I dive for the Fighting Irish!
