Rehab With Sport-Specific Skill Integration
Athletes In Motion (A.I.M.) Program
Injury and surgery can be devastating for an athlete—we get it, because we’ve been there ourselves. The road to recovery isn’t just physical, it’s mental too. One of the toughest questions athletes face after an injury is, “Will I ever get back to the level I was before?”
At Omaha Physical Therapy Institute, we take a unique and proven approach to treating injured athletes. Our Athletes In Motion (A.I.M.) program is designed to integrate sport-specific skills from day one of rehab through your very last session. Whether you’re aiming for a full return to competition or just want to move pain-free again, we’re here to help you get back to doing what you love—stronger and more confident than ever.

Confident and Safe Transition Back to Sports
The Athletes In Motion (A.I.M.) Program at Omaha Physical Therapy Institute is built to ensure a safe and confident return to sport for athletes of all ages and skill levels. By seamlessly blending sport-specific movements into the rehab process, we keep athletes mentally engaged and physically prepared, helping them maintain their skills—even while sidelined.
Each session includes one-on-one treatment with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, ensuring every program is tailored to the unique demands of the athlete’s sport. From sprinting, jumping, and landing to cutting, pivoting, and more, our goal is to enhance strength, agility, power, coordination, endurance, and speed to maximize performance and reduce reinjury risk.
Athletes are seen at our main clinic along with our Athlete’s In Motion (A.I.M.) clinic which allows for access to field turf. If an athlete’s sport does not involve a turf surface, other sports arenas or locations are utilized for sport-specific rehab including basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, grass fields, tracks, swimming pools, and ice rinks to provide proper exposure before transitioning back into a sport.
